You see me leading meetings, discussing products, planning campaigns, analysing reports.
But what you donโt see is:
๐ Remembering itโs Wednesday & kids need to wear their sports T-shirt ๐ฝ
๐ Packing a nutritious lunch that actually gets eaten ๐ค
๐ Texting the tuition teacher to reschedule ๐
๐ Realizing we are out of socks – again ๐คช
This is the invisible workload that working moms carry.
Itโs not on calendars. Itโs not in app notifications.
But itโs real. And itโs relentless.
Whatโs worse? We often donโt even acknowledge it ourselves.
Because we have normalized being the default parent, the emotional manager, the human reminder system!
But hereโs the thing:
Talking about it isnโt complaining. Itโs creating awareness.
๐ค Itโs building empathy at workplaces.
๐ญ Itโs helping other moms feel less alone.
๐งโ๐งโ๐ง Itโs inviting partners, teams, and leaders to share the load.
To all working moms out there –
๐ฏ You are not overreacting.
๐ฏ You are not weak.
๐ฏ You are doing the emotional labor of an entire ecosystem
while still showing up strong, smart and dependable.
Let’s talk about it.
Letโs make the invisible… visible. ๐
