You see me leading meetings, discussing products, planning campaigns, analysing reports.
But what you don’t see is:
🙃 Remembering it’s Wednesday & kids need to wear their sports T-shirt 🎽
🙃 Packing a nutritious lunch that actually gets eaten 🤞
🙃 Texting the tuition teacher to reschedule 🙄
🙃 Realizing we are out of socks – again 🤪
This is the invisible workload that working moms carry.
It’s not on calendars. It’s not in app notifications.
But it’s real. And it’s relentless.
What’s worse? We often don’t even acknowledge it ourselves.
Because we have normalized being the default parent, the emotional manager, the human reminder system!
But here’s the thing:
Talking about it isn’t complaining. It’s creating awareness.
🤝 It’s building empathy at workplaces.
👭 It’s helping other moms feel less alone.
🧑🧒🧒 It’s inviting partners, teams, and leaders to share the load.
To all working moms out there –
💯 You are not overreacting.
💯 You are not weak.
💯 You are doing the emotional labor of an entire ecosystem
while still showing up strong, smart and dependable.
Let’s talk about it.
Let’s make the invisible… visible. 💛
